I began my pursuit in 2011 during my senior year of high school in Missoula, Montana. I have spent the intervening years learning, honing, and developing my craft; thanks in large part to the critique and instruction I have received from established pipe makers. Though constantly evolving, my aesthetic is largely rooted in the American school of pipe making, modern industrial design, and French Art Deco.

Amidst my pursuit of excellence in craft, life has also continued to change. My high school girlfriend, Sarah, became my wife in 2014. We have three children Peregrin (2018), Beren (2019) and Elanor (2021). We got the state dog of Montana an English Labrador Retriever, Kronk (ok so there isn’t actually a state dog but it should be a thing). We now live in Billings, Montana, which sits on the Great Plains, near their confluence with the Beartooth mountains, a vanguard of the Northern Rockies.

It is an honor and privilege to be able to live and make pipes in such an incredible place. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, mentors and collectors who have supported, and continue to support my work.

Thank you,
